The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy enemy military targets in occupied Crimea
On the morning of July 22, powerful explosions rang out in the village of Buyuk-Onlar (Oktyabrske), in the central part of Crimea.
Residents of Dzhankoy and Simferopol districts were the first to report about the "cotton" on social networks. According to them, numerous explosions were heard in a radius of 50 km, and the detonation, judging by the amateur videos released, lasted for several hours. The occupiers began evacuating people living within a radius of 5 km from the epicenter of the explosion. And the Russian military began to leave their place of deployment en masse. This is evidenced by several photos and videos from the scene of the events.
The Gauleiter of Crimea, Aksyonov, admitted the fact of hitting the ammunition warehouse of the Russian army and announced the attack by drones.
Instead, Russian Telegram channels later reported that Storm Shadow missiles had hit the warehouse and the adjacent oil depot.
According to reports from social media users, the warehouse and oil depot were located near the Elevator station in the area of the airfield.
The occupation authorities closed the Kerch Bridge to automobile traffic. Rail traffic is also partially restricted.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed their work on the peninsula. This was announced in the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Defence forces of Ukraine destroyed an oil depot and warehouses of the Russian army in temporarily occupied Oktyabrske (Krasnogvardiyske district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea)".
