On Friday, April 14, children were evacuated from schools in many cities of the occupied Crimea.

Mass evacuation of schools in occupied Crimea occurred due to information about landmines. This was reported by local Telegram channels and also confirmed by the occupier’s "advisor to the head of Crimea" Oleg Kryuchkov. So far, children have been evacuated from the schools in the Chornomorske, Soviet, Leninsky, Kerch, Gurzuf, Yalta, Feodosiya, and Simferopol regions. In the Rozdolnensky region, the so-called "planned evacuation of schools" took place together with teachers and technical staff, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reports.

In Russia, Crimean Tatar Leniye Umerova has been held hostage for more than four months under the guise of administrative arrests.

Aziz Umerov, the brother of the arrested woman, informed us about this. According to him, Leniye was detained while crossing the Georgian-Russian border, when she was going to the occupied Crimea to take care of her terminally ill father at the end of 2022.

The detainee's brother says the Russians are accusing his sister of disobeying the law enforcement officers. At the moment, Umerova is being held in the temporary detention center of Vladikavkaz. "The only "crime" she committed was not getting a Russian passport while being a native of Crimea”, says Aziz Umerov. He calls on all concerned public activists, human rights organizations, and state authorities to help free Leniye from captivity!

In Crimea, the military parade of the occupiers on May 9 was canceled.

The pseudo-head of Crimea Serhiy Aksyonov justifies such actions of the authorities in his Telegram channel with security considerations. According to the occupier, despite the cancellation of festive events, "representatives of local occupation authorities" will visit the veterans. Subsequently, Aksyonov noted that the cancellation of these measures "applies only to the Republic of Crimea", parades will be held in Sevastopol.

However, instead of parades in Crimea, the occupiers continue to force schoolchildren of some schools in Crimea to make "medals" for the "heroes" of the so-called "special operation". This was reported by KrymSOS analyst Yevgeny Yaroshenko.

Also, Ukrainian children in Crimea are forced to prepare parcels for the occupying forces as part of the "our victory" marathon, which continues in various regions of Russia and in the occupied territories of Ukraine. Once a week, the anthem of the aggressor state is sung in the schools of the temporarily occupied peninsula.

In occupied Kerch, the annual torchlight procession on the night of May 8-9 was canceled.

This was reported by the press service of the occupation administration of Kerch in a comment to the propaganda TV channel "Crimea 24". The occupation authorities hold a torchlight procession in Kerch every year when residents of the city with lit torches walk through the central street to Mount Mithridates to the obelisk of Glory and "honor the memory of the Soviet soldiers who died during the Second World War."

POLITICAL PRISONERS

The occupation court considered the protocol against the Crimean activist Rolan Osmanov without his participation.

Osmanov's lawyers intend to appeal the decision regarding the protocol. The activist's lawyer said this on Osmanov's Facebook page. Osmanov was detained after a search by the "Center for Combating Extremism" and accused of "minor hooliganism" on the Internet.

"Rolan is accused of having a fight on the Internet. The court proves that Roland expressed his opinion regarding the so-called partial mobilization, which was carried out last fall. This is quite a high-profile event. He expressed his position regarding the departure of a significant number of people from Crimea, including Crimean Tatars, for which the employees of the Center for Combating Extremism saw a malicious intent, which leads to the commission of an administrative offense," - believes the activist's lawyer Nazim Sheikhmambetov.

The doctor of illegally convicted Crimean resident Iryna Danylovych confirmed the high probability of her hearing loss.

As a result of the examination, the doctor confirmed that illegally imprisoned citizen journalist Iryna Danylovych may lose her hearing due to the untimely provision of medical assistance. KrymSOS analyst Yevgeny Yaroshenko wrote about this. The probability of hearing loss is 50%. According to the information of human rights defenders, Danylovych's health condition will be examined in the future at the initiative of the occupiers' pre-trial detention center.

The fate of 21 missing people in Crimea remains unknown.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center published the names of the missing. Representatives of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center repeatedly informed the international community about relevant cases of human rights violations in occupied Crimea and sent dozens of statements, appeals, and reports to them.
