In the northern part of Crimea, not far from the town of Armyansk, several powerful explosions thundered today. Photos and videos from the scene appeared on social networks. Locals anonymously report that at least three explosions were heard near one of the military units of the Russian occupiers.
A few hours later, when the news circulated on the Internet, the occupation authorities commented on it. But they had different versions of what happened.
Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the self-proclaimed head of Crimea, called what happened "combat reconciliation." At the same time, the occupation administration of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the disposal of explosives from the Second World War.
The official authorities of Ukraine do not comment on the explosions in Crimea.
On the same day, around 7 a.m., Crimean telegram channels announced the closure of the road across the bay in Sevastopol. According to the residents of the city, at least 2 explosions were heard in the area of the Sevastopol military unit two hours before closing.
The head of the occupation of Sevastopol, Mykhailo Razvozhaev, confirmed the fact of the explosions, reporting at the same time about the alleged downing of two Ukrainian drones over the city.
Earlier, numerous reports about the creation of fortifications and the construction of trenches in the northern part of the peninsula began to appear on social networks.
Brady Afrik, an analyst at the Department of Foreign and Defense Policy Research at the American Enterprise Institute, reported on the construction of a new military base by the occupiers in the north of Crimea. According to his data, based on satellite images, the base has a helipad and a fortified perimeter.
At the same time, the "second army of the world" is as broke as a college student. Crimean partisans shared a screenshot from a chat room of one of Yevpatoria's educational institutions. The institution's administration requires parents to collect humanitarian aid for the army.
