Russia attacked Ukraine with 84 cruise missiles and 24 drones. Most of them did not reach their goals. However, the remains of the munitions killed and injured dozens of people. Thousands were left without water and electricity.

The first missiles, which Ukrainian air defense could not cope with, fell in the center of Kyiv. Volodymyrska Street was struck, the Kyiv National University building, office,s and residential buildings nearby were damaged. Shevchenko Park and the adjacent playground were fired upon. 6 people died, and 50 were injured.

A rocket hit a pedestrian bridge at Volodymyrsky Uzviz.

In Dnipro, Russians attacked residential buildings, public transport stops, and critical infrastructure facilities. 4 dead and 19 injured are reported.

Lviv suffered a blow to infrastructure facilities. In the morning, the mobile connection disappeared in the city, and electricity is still missing in most houses. Trams and trolleybuses have stopped.

On October 10, the Russians also shelled Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk.

Politicians, experts, and ordinary social networks users express a common opinion: the new attack on the peaceful Ukrainian population is revenge for Saturday's attack on the Kerch bridge and the mass retreat of Russian soldiers along the entire front line, but Putin will not succeed in intimidating Ukrainians. Kievans, forced by the attack to once again use the subway as a shelter, responded to the aggressor with a song.
