In Crimea, the warehouses with ammunitions exploded at the military airport of the Russian occupants in the Novofedirivka village of Saky region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces approve of the fact of explosions in Crimea, but don’t comment on participation in it. ZSU advises not smoking in the heat at unspecified locations. 

The Russian minister's office, Sergei Shoigu, reported the detonation of ammunitions "without any sign of impact" through the propaganda source of the occupants, RIA Novosti. The occupants say that the main reason for the explosion is the violation of fire safety rules. 

UA SOUTH sources in Kezlev (so-called Evpatoriya) saw at least two objects in the sky that were falling from the side of mainland Ukraine towards the western coast of the Crimean peninsula. 

The New York Times, citing a high-ranking source in the Ukrainian armed forces, reports that Ukrainian soldiers were involved in the explosions using weapons of distinctly domestic manufacture.

The occupants’ protégé in Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov reported the death of one person and announced "the yellow level of the terrorist threat". 

The Turkish state broadcaster TRT  reported seven explosions, while local residents in Crimea reported at least ten explosions on social media.
